Our rigorous, earn-while-you-learn program combines hands-on field experience with classroom instruction, ensuring that every apprentice graduates as a highly skilled and safety-conscious Journeyman Ironworker.

Our skilled and highly qualified employees give us the unique ability to pre-plan each project, in turn benefitting overall project schedules and budgets. We also offer the capability of working on fast-track schedules with 7-day a week schedules and/or multiple crews.

A successful candidate for the Ironworkers Local 75 apprenticeship program is someone who is physically fit, disciplined, and committed to a demanding but rewarding career. You should have a strong work ethic, a good sense of balance, and a willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions. A good candidate is a problem-solver who can work well as part of a team and is committed to a drug-free work environment.

How to Apply
To start your career as an Ironworker, you must apply in person at the Apprenticeship Office. You will need to provide a state-issued ID, high school diploma/GED, and be prepared for a drug screening and physical agility test. The application process is selective, and applicants should be dedicated to completing the full program.
